Yakima, Washington, [September 1, 2021] – Leading local and out-of-state universities will meet with Eisenhower students at the Eisenhower High School virtual college fair on September 27, 2021, with the goal of helping Washington students gain placement into universities, technical schools, community colleges, various military branches, and apprenticeship programs.  Scholarship representatives are also present at the fair for students to ask questions.  Admission to the fair is free for students and families. The fair will take place from 8:00 am to 10:15 am PST online on the NOVVA Technology Virtual Fair Platform.

This Smart Virtual Fair Platform is fully designed and focused on educational events and replicates all the features universities and students enjoy at in-person student fairs but online.  Eisenhower High School wants each student to graduate pursuing some form of post-secondary education.  This opportunity allows personal, interactive exploration for the entire student body.  Gabe Stotz, Career and College Readiness Specialist is coordinating this virtual event for students.   Mr. Stotz states, “All students should have the opportunity to explore various pathways.  This platform gives our students the opportunity to determine which pathway best fits their own unique interests. There are opportunities for students in grades 9-12 to start planning their life post-graduation.”
The technology is easy to use, multi-lingual, allows students and parents to connect with LIVE admission counselors one-on-one to ask their own questions, and allows students to collect unlimited brochures, videos, and photos to their virtual backpack.
.Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet university admission officials and begin the search for undergraduate programs. The fair brings opportunities to study arts, engineering, business, military opportunities, and hundreds of other programs.
