2018 Crystal Apple Awards - Winners Will Be Announced Monday, May 7th At 4pm, 4th Street Theatre - 05/04/18

The 31st Crystal Apple Awards ceremony will be held:

  • Monday, May 7, 2018
  • 4:00-5:00pm, doors open at 3:30pm
  • 4th Street Theatre, 16 S 4th Street

The Crystal Apple Awards were established in 1988 by Yakima’s business community. It honors the certified educator profession as a whole by awarding certificated individuals who positively impact the lives and futures of their students. The goals of the Crystal Apple Awards are to:

  • Reward excellence in education in the Yakima Public Schools.
  • Encourage creative and quality instruction.
  • Encourage the development of a positive learning environment.
  • Encourage excellent teachers to remain in teaching as a career.
  • Provide incentive for individual initiative on the part of teachers.
  • Contribute in a substantive way to the improvement of education in the Yakima Public Schools.
