Friday, November 17, 2023-Woodland, WA-The Woodland Public Schools Board of Directors invites community members to volunteer for the FOR and AGAINST committees of up to three people each for the upcoming Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy which will be presented to voters on the February 2024 ballot.
Per government requirements (RCW 29A.32.280), the School Board shall formally appoint committees to prepare arguments advocating voters' approval of the measure and advocating voters’ rejection of the measure. We invite you to contribute your insights by volunteering to serve on either the For or Against Committee.
Both committees will prepare statements, rebuttals, and select a chairperson for print in the Voters Pamphlet released with the ballots in January 2024.
Your commitment to the well-being of our students and the future of our school district is highly valued. To volunteer for either committee, please contact Nicole Galloway, the District Secretary, via email gallowan@woodlandschools.org by December 5, 2023.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational landscape of our community. We look forward to working together for the benefit of our students and the continued success of Woodland Public Schools.
