News Release
shots fired call - 11/19/17

On 11/19/17 at 2:53 PM Woodland Police Officers were dispatch to the 500 block of Windflower Drive within the City limits of Woodland for a shots fired call. Once on scene police learned a single gunshot had been fired striking the front of a house. The bullet went through the exterior wall of the house and continuing inside the house where it stuck an interior wall. The two occupants inside the home at the time of the shooting were not injured. Officers located a nearby neighbor, described as a 54 year old male who admitted to accidentally firing the weapon inside his own residence that had struck the neighbor's house. The male subject who had been drinking was arrested and booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on two counts of Reckless Endangerment.
