WSU Vancouver's CMDC students to showcase digital art - 02/15/18

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Washington State University Vancouver's Creative Media and Digital Culture program will present a collection of cool, innovative digital art created by students. "A Digital Canvas" will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 2 at the 1005 Main Street Gallery in downtown Vancouver. Artworks will include digital videos, animations, illustrations, virtual and augmented reality, interactive multimedia and more. Entry is free, and light refreshments will be served.

Senior CMDC student Valerie Parrish is curating the showcase. "Students in the CMDC program have created some genius pieces that stretch the idea of what traditional digital art is," said Parrish.

The CMDC program attracts some of the most talented students in the area focusing on digital and web-based studies. "A Digital Canvas" will give them the chance to exhibit what the CMDC program is about.
