The excavation for the foundation of the new gym is scheduled to begin the week of (7/27). This event will be the first “actual” beginning of the new construction portion of the project. Currently, the Winston-Dillard School Board of directors is scheduling a ground breaking ceremony for Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. near the excavation site for the new gym. Unfortunately, due to the virus issue, we cannot invite a large group of people to the event. A few spectators that can distance appropriately is about all we can accommodate at this point. However, we will invite the media and we will record and/or stream the event live so we can post the ceremony video here on FB.
