Jordan Daniel Sampson Sentenced In Domestic Violence Case (Photo) - 05/15/26

HILLSBORO, Ore- On May 11, 2026, Washington County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Erwin sentenced Jordan Daniel Sampson, age 26, to 75 months in prison. The defendant previously pleaded guilty to sexual abuse in the first degree constituting domestic violence, strangulation constituting domestic violence, and assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence.
 

On September 8, 2024, the defendant sexually and physically assaulted the victim in her apartment. He later admitted to some of the abuse over text messages. The victim was also evaluated by medical professionals who found additional evidence of the abuse.
 

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office commends the victim for reporting this abuse. This office also acknowledges the work of the Beaverton police on this case.
 

Help is available for anyone living in a dangerous or unsafe situation. The Family Peace Center of Washington County is a valuable resource for those in need of support.
 

The defendant will be transferred to the Oregon Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
