Join us for brainy comedy night where local scientists will attempt to be funny for their first time ever! Science on Tap is joining forces with Science Riot, the first science outreach program in the country to turn scientists into engaging speakers through immersive training in comedy writing and performance. The resulting showcase is an evening of laughter, learning, and libations where our newest cohort of local experts deliver 10-minute “late-night” comedy talks directly to real-life humans.

Proceeds from your tickets helps to ensure that this training remains free for science professionals! Science Riot has been featured on NPR’s Here & Now and hosts regular programs in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Colorado Springs, Denver, and New York City. We believe in the power of humor to connect with broad audiences, make difficult topics accessible, and humanize scientists without undermining the seriousness of their professions.

Click here for more information about our free and unique training program for science professionals.

This show is intended for adult audiences only.

Science on Tap is a science lecture series where you can sit back, drink a pint, and enjoy learning. Listen to experts talk about the science in your neighborhood and around the world. You don't have to be a science geek to have fun--all you need is a thirst for knowledge! For more information on this event or about Science on Tap, visit Via Productions.
