Apply now for Vancouver Public Schools' specialized programs - 01/11/18

Vancouver students can participate in full-day magnet programs and half-day programs of choice that help them explore their interests and gain the knowledge and skills needed for college and careers. The district offers the following:

Careers in Education (grades 10-12)
Vancouver Flex Academy (grades 9-12)
Welding/Fabrication Technology (grades 10-12)
Culinary Arts (grades 10-12)
International Baccalaureate (grades 9-12)
Medical Arts (grades 9-12)
Vancouver iTech Preparatory (grades 6-12)
Fort Vancouver Center for International Studies (grades 9-12, no application required)
Architecture, Construction and Environmental Services (grades 9-12)
Science, Math and Technology Magnet (grades 9-12)
Vancouver School of Arts and Academics (grades 6-12)

Enrollment in magnet programs and programs of choice is free, but current students not in a program must apply for admission to programs that serve the grade they will be in the following year. Applications should be submitted at Enrollment will begin with the 2018-19 school year.

Parents and prospective students can learn more about the programs by attending open houses or contacting a program coordinator.
