Homicide Suspect Arrested (corrected Spelling To Victim First Name)

Vancouver, Wash. – On September 8, 2026, Vancouver Police were notified that homicide suspect Maai E. Hinton had surrendered to police in Tacoma Washington and was currently in the Pierce County Jail. Hinton was wanted for the homicide of Guerlin Caetano, who was shot in Vancouver on April 18, 2026, while sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot in the 11800 block of SE Mill Plain Blvd.
Hinton was transported from Pierce County to Clark County by detectives from the Vancouver Police Department and was booked into the Clark County jail for Murder in the second degree, Firearm Possession, and a fugitive warrant.
