Vancouver Police Investigate Shooting - 08/30/26

Vancouver, Wash. – On August 30, 2026, at around 5:34 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to the 6100 block of NE 77th Avenue for the report of a disturbance with a weapon. Callers reported a male with a gun went inside a residence and multiple gunshots were heard. When officers arrived, they located two adult males inside the residence deceased.

 

Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are investigating this as a murder/suicide. There are not believed to be any outstanding suspects and no danger to the public. Nothing additional is being released at this time.
