Vancouver Police Investigate Shooting

Vancouver, Wash. – On August 17, 2026, at around 12:30 a.m. Vancouver Police responded to a parking lot in the 300 block of SE 192nd Avenue for the report of a fight between a group of teens and gunshots heard. When officers arrived, they did not locate anyone who appeared to have been involved, or any victims. Numerous shell casings and blood evidence were located. Shortly after, a 19-year-old male arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit are continuing the investigation. Nothing additional is being released at this time.
