Vancouver Police Investigate Vehicle Vs. Bicyclist Collision (Update) -08/30/24

The bicyclist did not survive his injuries.

The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office will release the identity of the person and cause and manner of death.

The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.

Vancouver Police Department's Traffic Unit are investigating a collision that occurred on E Mill Plain Boulevard near E 87th Ave at approximately 1337 hours.  A bicyclist crossed the intersection to head northbound and was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on E Mill Plain.  The driver stopped and is cooperative with police.  The bicyclist was transported to PeaceHealth Medical Center where he was admitted with life-threatening injuries.  There were no signs of impairment from the driver of the vehicle.  Investigation continues.
