Janice Myers

UPDATED INFORMATION/LOCATED, MALE ARRESTED

Janice is 77 years old. She was last seen wearing a blue and black zip-up jacket with a hood, black pants and brown shoes with pink laces. 

The male originally known only as “Steve” has been identified as Steven Wonser aka "Stephen Bailey," and is 72 years old. Steven had a felony warrant out of Oregon for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

The pair were spotted at Legacy Salmon Creek and the Clark County Sherriff's Office responded, arresting Steven for his warrant and taking Janice into protective custody. The Vancouver Police Department received numerous tips from the community which aided in identifying Steven which ultimately led to Janice's recovery.

On March 31, 2023, employees at an adult care facility in downtown Vancouver called to report a resident, Janice Myers, missing since 03/28/23. Janice is a 67-year-old white female, 5’5”, 120lbs with grey hair. Her clothing description is unknown. Janice might be experiencing short term memory loss and requires medication. She was reportedly going to take a Ctran bus from the downtown area to an event and planned to return on 3/29/23. Janice could be accompanied by a man named “Steve.” Steve is described as a white male in his late 70’s to early 80’s, bald and usually wearing a Vietnam Vet hat.
