Vancouver Police seek assistance to locate stabbing suspect (Photo) - 06/21/21

Update:

Joshua Ryan was located, arrested, and booked into Clark County Jail for the below listed crime.

 

Vancouver, Wash. –On June 20, 2021, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the report of a stabbing in the 3300 block of E 18th street. The victim was taking a walk in the area when an unknown male approached him unprovoked, stabbed him in the back with knife and fled on foot. The suspect has been identified as Joshua A. Ryan, 29.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. The investigation indicates this was a random act of violence.

Vancouver Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of Joshua A. Ryan. Based on the nature of the crime, Joshua A. Ryan is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 
9-1-1.
