Update 13: Clark County Sheriff's Office Officer Involved Shooting February 4, 2021 - 04/05/21

Vancouver, Wash. – On April 5, 2021, the SW Washington Independent Investigative Response Team (SWIIR), led by the Vancouver Police Department, completed their investigation and the case has been forwarded to the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

On April 5, 2021, following the forwarding of the case to the Clark County Prosecution Attorney’s Office, SWIIR investigators provided the Clark County Sheriff’s Office administration staff and the non-law enforcement community members assigned to this investigation as part of the SWIIR, a briefing on the investigation.

Lab results are still pending.

Nothing further related to this investigation will be released from the SWIIR team.
