Police request public assistance locating runaway. (Photo) - 08/11/19


Matter resolved and public assistance no longer necessary.  Thank you to both the media and the public in this incident.




The Vancouver Police Department is requesting public assistance attempting to locate Lauren Contreras, a 14 year old runaway. Lauren was last seen 08/10/19 in the East Vancouver area. She was last known to be wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black VANS sneakers with red and yellow flames on them. Lauren took some of her belongings when she left in a large white department store shopping bag. Lauren has metal braces on her teeth, multiple piercing on both ears, and a henna art of a crown on her right hand. 

If you have seen Lauren or know her location, please call 3-1-1 if in Clark County, or your local agency if outside of Clark County.
