Safe Streets Task Force makes arrest in Vancouver shooting - 11/02/18

On Sept. 28, 2018 Vancouver Police responded to the Brookside 112 Apartments located at 4619 NE 112th Ave for multiple 911 calls of shots fired by an unknown male subject in the complex.  The male was later identified in this investigation as Mikl Sandoval (18) of Vancouver.

On the morning of Nov. 2, 2018 the Safe Streets Task Force assisted by the Vancouver Police Neighborhood Response Team East and SW Washington SWAT served a search warrant at Mikl Sandoval's residence located at 11111 NE 48th Cir. in Vancouver Washington.  During the course of the search warrant service at the residence two unlawfully possessed firearms were recovered.

Mikl Sandoval was booked into the Clark County Jail on three counts of Assault I, two counts of Unlawful Possession of Firearms and one count Possession of a Stolen Firearm.
