Serious Traffic Collision In Vancouver (Photo) -10/20/18
On 10-20-18 at approximately 07:20 AM multiple Vancouver Police and Clark County Sheriff's Office patrol units responded to repot of a "head on" traffic collision at 14100 block of NE Fourth Plain Blvd in Vancouver, WA.
It was then determined that the collision involved a total of two vehicles, a red Nissan pickup truck and a black Toyota "Camry" sedan. The pickup truck was occupied by an adult male driver while the Toyota was occupied by an adult male driver and an adult female passenger.
Preliminary investigation revealed that immediately prior to the crash, the red Nissan pickup truck was traveling E/B on Fourth Plain Blvd. The pickup truck crossed over the median onto W/B lanes and collided with the Toyota sedan, which was traveling W/B.
All involved parties were transported to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
VPD Traffic Unit's investigators responded and took over the investigation.
It was also determined that alcohol was a possible factor for the cause of the accident. This has not been confirmed as of time of this release.
W/B traffic on Fourth Plain Blvd at the above location was diverted for several hours. As of time of this release, traffic in the area has been returned to normal.
