Vancouver PD would like to request the public in the Vancouver-Portland area to please remain on the lookout for Kurt Pahl and his vehicle.
On 12/13/2017 the WSP Patrol approved a "Silver Alert" message to be displayed on WSDOT highway message boards throughout the state.
Kurt Pahl, who was last seen before noon on 12/11/2017, suffers from a number of serious medical conditions, and may be in need of medical aid. He has a love for the outdoors, and may have gone to visit area trails, scenic spots, or other natural areas.
If you have information about the location of Kurt or his vehicle, please call 911.

The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public's assistance with locating 77 year old Kurt Pahl. He is described as a white male, 5'8", 195 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. Pahl was last seen at his residence on December 11th before leaving in his vehicle, a tan four door 2001 Buick Regal with Washington license plate 259VTK. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts are encouraged to call 911.
