Salem's Newest Restaurant, IWINGZ, Opening Today In South Salem (Photo) -07/27/20

iWINGZ, Salem’s newest restaurant, opens today, July 23, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 2445 25th St. SE across from the Salem airport. The new restaurant will feature outdoor seating, a banquet room, and an arcade/gaming area. For owner Paul Lien Xin, the restaurant will do more than just provide wings.

Xin said, “I live in Salem, and I’m happy to serve my community with high-quality, wings, mac and cheese, hand-breaded chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and more, that are a better option than fast food. I want to be more involved in the community. I’m very passionate about youth sports, so I can use my restaurant to sponsor sports activities and teams, help youth, and fundraise for the community.” 

iWINGZ will feature a diverse menu of options, including build-your-own mac and cheese, 20+ sauces, chicken sandwiches, and more. There will eventually be vegan options. They will also have mixed drinks and local beers on tap, including the brews of neighbor Santiam Ale Works. 

The restaurant will also feature a private dining room for small parties, birthdays, etc. Also, iWINGZ has an arcade with 20+ machines, including pinball, claw machines, and foosball. 

The restaurant is following all social distancing and sanitation requirements.
