BEAVERTON, Ore. – May the Farce Be With You – a comedy by David Rogers – comes to life on the Valley Catholic stage this Fall.

The Valley Catholic High School Theatre Department will present their fall production on Oct. 26-28 and Nov. 1-4. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:00 p.m. (On the second weekend, performances are Thursday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m.) Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 p.m. Valley Catholic High School is located at 4275 SW 148th Ave., Beaverton. The high school is on the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon campus on Murray Blvd. between TV Highway and Farmington Rd.

Tickets can be purchased online at ValleyCatholic.org. Tickets purchased online will be available at "will call" on the day of the performance. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students and seniors.

David Rogers's comedy May the Farce Be With You tells the tale of members of the Elite Idealistic Earth Individuals Organization, or the E.I.E.I.O., who have come to O. MacDonald’s health spa in scenic New Mexico for their annual conference. The conference is invaded by the villainous Star Raider and his culinary minions from the planet Inferna. Star Raider has discovered the key to the superheroes’ strength: until they change into their superhero outfits, they’re just regular, non-super folks. He’s developed a serum to keep the superheroes in their civilian clothes, thwarting their ability to use their powers and giving him the ability to take over the world. It’s up to the unlikely heroes, including the incredibly intelligent Super Brain and Wizard Woman, to save the E.I.E.I.O – and the world – from nefarious intergalactic doom!

"This has been such a delightful production to direct! The cast has worked diligently to create hilarious superhero and super villain personas – I’m so proud of the work they’ve done and I know that audiences will have a terrific time,” says Ginnie Sutfin, director and drama teacher at Valley Catholic. "We have a cast of crew of 44 students from 7-12 grades who have gone ‘all in’ to make sure the production is a great success."
