Pizza For Pfizer. Virginia Garcia Reaches Out To Those Under 18 With A Delicious Vaccination Reason. - 05/24/21
Monday, May 24:
The Virginia Garcia CoRe (Covid Response) Team will be at Beaverton High School tomorrow, Tuesday, May 25 from 11am - 3:30pm hosting a free COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination event open to anyone in the community 12 years and older. No appointment is required and you do not have to be a Virginia Garcia patient or have a child that attends school in the district. The event is free and open to anyone that wants to come by and get the vaccine.
The best part of the day (other than receiving a life-saving vaccine for free)? Everyone that gets the COVID Pfizer vaccine at the event tomorrow receives two slices of free pizza from Pietros Pizza. Volunteers will be handing out the pizza and everyone that is vaccinated will be able to immediately take advantage of their celebratory pizza while they wait their 15 minutes after the vaccination.
The vaccine (and the pizza) are free. Identification and insurance are not required to receive the vaccine, however we do ask that you bring insurance information if you have it. If you are under the age of 15 you will be required to present a consent form signed by a parent or guardian but they do not need to come with you to be vaccinated. Consent forms can be found on our website at VirginiaGarcia.org/vaccine.
