Vancouver Fire Extinguishes House Fire (Photo) -03/10/24
At 3:44 PM today, Vancouver Fire was dispatched to the report of a house fire at 801 NE 156th ave in Vancouver, WA. The first unit arrived within 5 minutes and found 1 house on fire impinging on a neighboring house as well. The call was upgraded to a second alarm for additional personnel. Additional units extinguished the fire and searched the homes which included the rescue of 1 cat.
We responded with a total of 6 engines, 3 trucks, 1 squad and 2 chief officers. One resident was displaced, no residents or firefighters were injured during the incident. The cause is under investigation by the Vancouver Fire Marshals office.
