Firefighters On Scene Of A House Fire In West Vancouver (Photo) - 04/02/22

Firefighters from the Vancouver Fire Department are currently on the scene of a house fire near the 800 block of W 33rd Street in West Vancouver. Crews were dispatched shortly after 6 PM this evening and upon arrival found a detached garage that was fully on fire and had spread to the main house. 

Firefighters immediately deployed hose lines inside the house to attack the fire. The homeowner told firefighters that everyone escaped the home safely. There are no reports of injuries.

The fire was under control within 30 minutes. 20 firefighters are on the scene, including several engine companies from Clark County Fire District 6. The Vancouver Fire Marshal's Office is on the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
