UCCS Farm Announces Annual Plant Sale, Farmer's Market Series - 05/08/24

The UCCS Farm will be hosting its annual plant sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, May 18. The plant sale is open to the public, and the community is encouraged to attend.

The plant sale is a long-held and beloved tradition at the Farm that raises money for their mission to cultivate a vibrant space for everyone to thrive. This year, the Farm is offering a diverse selection of organic, heirloom and uncommon varieties of tomatoes, peppers, beans, herbs and flowers grown at UCCS.  

Additionally, from May to September, the Farm will be hosting a Farmer’s Market on the third Friday of each month. Student entrepreneurs, Colorado vendors and food trucks will come together to showcase their goods and services and offer the community a chance to enjoy and support other locals. Each market will offer fresh produce, artisanal products and delicious food.

2024 dates include:

May 17 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
June 21 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
July 19 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
August 16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
September 20 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
