Second Residential Fire In Beaverton Requires Defensive Operations (Photo) - 05/01/26

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Beaverton, OR — Approximately 10 minutes after an earlier residential fire, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews responded to a second fire in the Seminole Estates on SW 195th Avenue in Beaverton.

Firefighters arrived to find a manufactured home with active fire inside that had extended through the roof. Crews initially began an aggressive interior fire attack; however, deteriorating conditions and signs of structural collapse in the roof prompted firefighters to withdraw from the structure for safety.

Operations transitioned to a defensive, exterior attack, allowing crews to bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue was assisted on scene by Hillsboro Fire & Rescue and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
