At 2:00 p.m. today, multiple callers to 911 reported a fire at multi-family housing complex in the 14600 block of Northwest Cornell Road.

Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming out of the back of a third-floor unit. The fire was quickly spreading to an adjacent unit on the third floor. Firefighters on the first arriving engine began attacking the fire while a truck crew searched all three floors for occupants. A search confirmed that all occupants had exited the building.

The fire was brought under control as crews swiftly worked their way into the main fire unit on the third floor, limiting fire damage to only two units.
