House Fire in Aloha Displaces Family and Dogs (Photo) - 10/12/20

Just before 6 a.m. this morning, multiple callers to 911 reported a house on fire located on Kinnaman Road between 198th and 185th avenues in Aloha.

First incoming crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the exterior of the home behind the garage. Firefighters immediately began aggressive fire attack measures extinguishing the fire in approximately 20 mins.

Thankfully, all of the occupants and their pets safely evacuated and were not injured. Two adults, five children and two dogs are displaced due to fire and smoke damage. They will seek assistance from Red Cross for housing and other essential needs.

Cause of the fire is currently under investigation. If a cause is determined, this release will be updated.

TVF&R was assisted by Hillsboro Fire and Rescue, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Portland General Electric and NW Natural.
