Medical Equipment Stolen From Fire Apparatus in Tigard - 11/24/17

This evening, medical kits were stolen from a Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on SW Pacific Hwy in Tigard. Item taken include: a cardiac heart monitor, and airway kit, an IV kit, and other medical equipment.

Firefighter Paramedics from TVF&R rely on such equipment to provide critical care. TVF&R responds to more than 36,000 medical calls each year.

If you have information about the theft please contact the Tigard Police Department at 503-629-0111.

"We are dismayed by these selfish actions and hope the community can help us find the person or persons responsible," states TVF&R Battalion Chief Chris Dawson.
