TTSD has been closely monitoring local air quality conditions as well as the number of staff and families who are navigating the impacts of the fires and smoke. With forecasts showing slow but continued improvement over the next 24 hours, the district has made the decision to start school tomorrow and welcome our students back remotely as planned.
District buildings will remain closed to the public on Monday and daycares are also closed. In addition, there will be no meal delivery service to prevent students, families, and staff from spending extended time outdoors.
All district scheduled activities continued to be postponed until local air quality improves. District officials will be monitoring the Air Quality Index (AQI) to determine when to resume normal activities.
Families or students with questions or needing assistance to prepare for the first week of school, please reach out to the office staff at their home schools.
