TTSD Reaches Tentative Two-year Contract With Licensed Bargaining Unit -12/19/24
The Tigard-Tualatin School District has reached a tentative two-year agreement with the educators union. If approved Jan. 9 by a vote of Tigard-Tualatin Education Association (TTEA) members, educators would receive COLA adjustments of 4% in the current school year and 4% in 2025-26. They would also receive health benefit increases in each year of 3.4%.
Workdays were set at 190 days for both years.
“We appreciate how the TTEA bargaining team has represented their members in a collaborative way, ” said Iton Udosenata, TTSD’s superintendent. “Students and our communities benefit when we find paths to agreement.”
Udosenata also said that the state’s antiquated school funding model has compounded the challenges of local school budgeting and collective bargaining.
“We look forward to partnering with TTEA to advocate for stable and adequate school funding,” he said. ”Our students and staff deserve nothing less.”
The agreement would run through June 30, 2026.
