Silver Key Expands Annual Summit to Two Days, Highlighting Multi-Generational Connection and Community Support

 

Colorado Springs, CO — Silver Key invites the community to its newly expanded Silver Key Summit: An Expo of Elder Services, taking place Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Great Wolf Lodge, 9494 Federal Drive, Colorado Springs 80921.

 

Now a two-day experience, the Summit offers something new each day, encouraging attendees to come for both. Day One will focus on resources, education, and services that support aging well, while Day Two brings a multi-generational focus, with sessions and activities designed to strengthen connections across ages and support the entire family unit.

“This Summit is about more than information, it’s about people,” said Jason DeaBueno, Silver Key CEO & President. “It’s where stories are shared across generations, where families find support together, and where every stage of aging is valued and understood.”

 

Attendees can explore a wide range of local resources, engage with expert speakers, and take part in interactive activities that promote healthy, connected living. From navigating services to building meaningful relationships, the Summit reflects Silver Key’s deep commitment to the well-being of older adults and the families who walk alongside them.

 

To ensure access for all, free shuttle transportation in the hotel parking lot and from both Silver Key locations in Colorado Springs and Monument:

From Monument (Tri-Lakes Senior Center, 238 Third St., Monument, CO 80132):

  • Departure at 7:30 a.m., returning at 11:00 a.m.
  • Departure at 11:30 a.m., returning at 2:00 p.m.

From Colorado Springs (Murray Campus, 1625 S. Murray Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80916):

  • Departure at 7:30 a.m., returning at 11:00 a.m.
  • Departure at 11:30 a.m., returning at 2:00 p.m.

Shuttle reservations are required. Individuals who call now will be placed on a waitlist, with confirmed shuttle assignments beginning two weeks prior to the event on April 30 and May 1. To reserve a space, please contact Silver Key Transportation at 719-884-2300.

 

The event is free to attend, with complimentary food and parking provided. Silver Key’s Thrift Store will also be on-site, offering a chance to shop with purpose while supporting programs that serve local older adults.
