News Release
Silver Key Wants Community Input Regarding a Proposed Volunteer Rideshare Service for Seniors - 11/14/18

Silver Key Reserve & Ride transportation service provides rides for area seniors age 60+ to help them remain engaged and independent. To meet the growing demand for rides to get to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, meals and other activities, Silver Key is researching additional service options.

One way to be able to provide more rides is to offer a Volunteer Rideshare service where trained and vetted volunteer drivers would use their own vehicles. This proposed optional transportation service could also help Silver Key expand ride availability to include evenings and weekends.

Silver Key wants to hear from those who might be interested in volunteering to drive or ride with this type of service and has developed a survey for community input: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q63JYGH

For more information about the survey, contact research@silverkey.org.
