Officers Respond to Fatal Traffic Crash

On Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at approximately 1:00am, officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic crash on SW Tualatin Sherwood Rd / SW Wildrose Pl in Sherwood. The first officer arrived on scene in under one minute and an occupant was pronounced deceased on scene. Multiple agencies responded to the crash scene and the roadway was shut down for approximately 5 ½ hours.
The crash is currently an ongoing investigation being led by the Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART). CART is a multi-agency team which is comprised of specially trained law enforcement officers and a Deputy District Attorney from the Washington County District Attorney’s Office that investigate and reconstructs traffic crashes.
We would like to thank Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, AMR Ambulance, Tualatin Police Department, King City Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Land Use and Transportation (LUT) and members of CART for their assistance on scene.
