Suspect Indicted For Sex Crime Charges - 08/28/22

Suspect Indicted for Sex Crime Charges 

August 28, 2022 

On August 24, 2022 Tyler R. Ebert, age 27, was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury on Felony crimes involving a female adult.

  • Rape in the First Degree (Felony) – 2 counts
  • Sodomy in the First Degree (Felony) – 2 counts
  • Sexual Abuse in the First Degree (Felony) – 2 counts 

Detectives have been working on this case number October of 2021 after the victim came forward. Following the indictment, a Washington County Circuit Court Judge issued a Secret Indictment Arrest Warrant. Mr. Ebert was arrested last night without incident by Sherwood officers and is currently being held at the Washington County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information will be released at this time.
