9/12/20 6:30 AM Update for Sandy (Photo) - 09/12/20

Good Morning. The City of Sandy and surrounding areas remain in the same evacuation levels as last night, the city itself is still in Level 2, “Be Set.” If the situation remains stable, as it has for the last 24 hours, posts will become less frequent. As you can see, Sandy Police Officers were on patrol overnight. Officers made one arrest (for DUII), sent one person to the hospital for mental health concerns, and educated several people regarding the county-wide curfew.

Air quality remains hazardous in Sandy. You are encouraged to stay indoors as much as possible. Fire danger also remains very high.

Continue to monitor Clackamas.us/wildfires and the evacuation map found there. Also sign up for Public Alerts at: https://www.publicalerts.org/hazards/wildfire-2020.

Please report any criminal or suspicious behavior to the Clackamas County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 503-655-8211.
