9/11/20 10:00 AM update for Sandy - 09/11/20

Good Morning. Fire Officials report that the Riverside Fire did not move towards Sandy overnight. Sandy and surrounding areas have not changed evacuation levels.

 

Sandy Police and Sandy Fire are responding to incidents in our districts and city but are also responding to incidents in neighboring jurisdictions to keep resources free for incident managers. 

 

Air quality in Sandy is approaching hazardous levels. We encourage you to stay indoors as much as possible and check on neighbors that may have breathing issues.
