News Release
Sandy Still At Level 2, Last Update for Night - 09/10/20

This will be our last update for the night, unless something drastically changes overnight. As of the time of this writing, the city limits of Sandy remain in Level 2 “BE SET”.

The most recent updates from officials have been promising for the city.

Please continue to prepare, assist those who need assistance, and plan where you might have to evacuate to. If the city were to be put into Level 3 “GO” that would mean “Evacuate now! Leave immediately! Danger to your area is current or imminent, and you should evacuate immediately.” This is why we have been advising you to prepare now.

Continue to monitor Clackamas.us/wildfires and the evacuation map found there. Also sign up for Public Alerts at: https://www.publicalerts.org/hazards/wildfire-2020.

Sandy PD will continue to be on patrol 24 hours a day, protecting life and property. The 10pm-6am curfew remains in place, and can carry a $500 fine for violators. The Clackamas County Non-Emergency Dispatch number is 503-655-8211. Please report any criminal or suspicious behavior.
