News Release
Sandy Still At Level 2, Monitoring Situation - 09/10/20

The Sandy Police Department has brought in extra resources and is working with Sandy Fire Personnel to plan and coordinate how to assist citizens in the city. The evacuation level in the city limits is still at Level 2, “Be Set” to evacuate. This is the time to pack and prepare to leave, if and when the city is moved to a Level 3, “GO”. If you can leave now, we encourage you to do so to even out the traffic congestion on the highways. Please remember to be patient on the roads when you do evacuate.

If you are prepared, please check on your neighbors and loved ones, especially those that are elderly and may need some assistance. We are all in this together.

Continue to monitor Clackamas.us/wildfires and the evacuation map found there. Also sign up for Public Alerts at: https://www.publicalerts.org/hazards/wildfire-2020.

Sandy PD will continue to be on patrol 24 hours a day. The Clackamas County Non-Emergency Dispatch number is 503-655-8211.
