Sandy Attempted Robbery Suspect Arrested in Washington (Photo) - 11/05/18

Camron L. Gaunt, 35, of Chelan, Washington was arrested over the weekend in Kirkland, WA by members of the US Marshals led Western District of Washington Fugitive Task Force. Gaunt was a suspect in numerous robberies in the Puget Sound area and an October 16, 2018 robbery attempt at the Clackamas Federal Credit Union in Sandy. Law Enforcement officials in Washington contacted Sandy Police last week in response to a bulletin with the suspect’s picture and identified Gaunt as a possible suspect. After his arrest, Gaunt was interviewed and confessed to committing the attempted robbery in Sandy. He is being held at a federal detention facility on a warrant for violating his federal probation charges. Charges are forthcoming on numerous bank robbery charges, including the Sandy case.
