On 01/18/2018 at about 0814 hrs., a parent of a student who attends Estacada High School reported a theft of a cell phone. There are no suspect/s at this time.

On 01/20/2018 at about 1838 hrs., Jennifer L. Phipps, (42, of Eagle Creek), was stopped for traffic violations. During the encounter, she was observed driving her vehicle into a ditch near the corner of SE Eagle Creek Road and SE Rivermill Road. She was cited for speeding and using a cell phone while driving, and was arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving. She was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on $5,000 bail.

On 01/18/2018 at 1014 hrs., police responded to a report of a burglary in the 19000 block of Wellesley Avenue. A report was taken.

On 01/18/2018 at 1400 hrs., Larry Y. Zhu (35, of Sandy) was arrested at the Sandy Police Department on a warrant for failing to appear on a theft charge. He was transported to Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $2500 bail.

On 01/19/2018 at about 1933 hrs., police responded to a welfare check request in the 15000 block of Bachelor Avenue. A report was taken and will be referred to DHS.

On 01/20/2018 at about 1457 hrs., police responded to the intersection of Highway 26 and Wolf Drive regarding a motor vehicle crash. One party was cited for following too closely.

On 01/20/2018 at 1721 hrs., police stopped a vehicle in the 36000 block of Highway 26 for a traffic violation. The driver was found to have a suspended driver license. He was cited for this, and for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device. The vehicle was towed.

On 01/20/2018 at about 2032 hrs., police contacted a juvenile for posession of alcohol and marijuana at Sandy High School. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the juvenile department.

On 01/20/2018 at about 2116 hrs., police contacted a juvenile for being under the influence of alcohol at Sandy High School. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the juvenile department.

On 01/21/2018 at 0102 hrs., police checked a garage in the 39000 block of Hood Street for trespassers. A juvenile with a felony warrant for Assault 4 was found sleeping in the garage. The juvenile was transported to the Donald E. Long Detention Center in Portland.
