Sandy & Estacada Police Log - 01/04/2018-01/08/2018 ESTACADA: 18-0028 On 01/06/2018 at about 1758 hrs., police towed a vehicle for not having insurance after a traffic stop in the 500 block of S Beach Road. A report was taken. 18-0030 On 01/06/2017 at about 2219 hrs., police arrested Brodie D. Califf (28, transient) in the 800 block of NW Wade Street on a warrant for failing to appear on a DUII. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, where he was lodged on $50,000 bail. SANDY: 18-CAD On 01/03/2018 at about 1442 hrs., police received a report about fraud that had previously occurred in Sandy. A report is pending (CAD). 18-0022 On 01/04/2018 at about 1830 hrs., police responded to the 16000 block of 362nd Drive regarding a hit & run motor vehicle crash. A report was taken. 18-0023 On 01/04/2018, at around 2152 hrs., police contacted Brian Tadevich in the 17000 block of Meinig Avenue. He had an outstanding cite and release warrant for theft III out of Clackamas County. He was cited and released. 18-0024 On 01/05/2018 at about 0314 hrs., police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle was towing a stolen pickup on a trailer. The driver was questioned and the investigation is ongoing. 18-0025 On 01/05/2018 at 0743 hrs., Police located a reported Juvenile Runaway at a business located in the 17000 block of Bluff Road. The juvenile's parent was informed of the location of the juvenile and that the juvenile was safe. 18-0026 On 01/05/2018 at 0943 hrs., police had an abandoned vehicle towed which had been previously tag for removal. The vehicle was towed from near the intersection of SE Kelso and Jewelberry Avenue. 18-0027 On 01/06/2018 at 1513 hrs., police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Beers Avenue and Hood Street. The investigation revealed that the crash was caused by over-steering which led to the vehicle crashing into a fence. No citations were issued. 18-0029 On 01/06/2018 at approximately 1700 hrs., there was a reported harassment at a business in the 39000 block of Proctor Boulevard. The investigation is open. 18-0031 On 01/07/2018 at 2134 hrs., police were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance call in the 37000 block of Dubarko Road. One party left the scene before police arrived. The information discovered during the investigation will be forwarded to DHS and the county probation officer. 18-0032 On 01/08/2018 at 0000 hrs., police responded to a Domestic Disturbance call in the 18000 block of Meinig Avenue. Damian Akre (26, of Sandy) was arrested for Assault IV-APA and was transported to Clackamas County jail. He was also held on a probation-violation detainer. 18-0033 On 01/08/2018 at about 0511 hrs., police received a report about a runaway juvenile from the 17000 block of Loundree Drive. The juvenile was entered into appropriate databases.
