Firearms Seized After Search Warrant in Northeast Salem
SALEM, Ore. -- Salem Police arrested Parker Burzio, 22, of Salem, today after serving a search warrant at a northeast Salem residence as part of an investigation into illegal firearms and firearm accessories.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on October 7, 2026, the Salem Police SWAT Team served a search warrant at a home in the 3300 block of Fairhaven Avenue NE, where Burzio was taken into custody.
During the search, officers seized three handguns and multiple firearm parts and accessories.
Burzio was lodged at the Marion County Jail on multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Short-Barreled Rifle and Unlawful Transport, Manufacture, Transfer, or Possession of a Rapid-Fire Activator.
The investigation is ongoing and further inquiries should be directed to the Marion County District Attorney's Office.
