Salem, Ore. — At approximately 9:20 a.m. today, December 30, 2021, patrol officers responded to the report of a shooting near the intersection of Pine and Broadway STS NE.

Officers located one adult, male victim with non-life-threatening injuries who was transported to Salem Health for treatment.

Patrol officers notified adjacent law enforcement agencies who assisted with a search for the suspect. That search has concluded, and Salem Police detectives have taken over the investigation. There is no known danger to the public.

This is an active investigation, and no further information is available for release at this time.
