Salem Health West Valley Foundation announces scholarships (Photo) - 02/13/18

Salem Health West Valley Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for students in medically-related fields of study. To find a scholarship application packet, please visit www.salemhealth.org/scholarships and click on the "West Valley Foundation scholarship" link.

Completed application packets must be received by email at wvhfoundation@salemhealth.org no later than 4 p.m. on March 29, 2018. Applications may also be mailed to the Salem Health West Valley Foundation at P.O. Box 14001, Salem, OR 97301, postmarked by March 25, 2018, or hand-delivered to the West Valley Hospital administrative offices at 525 SE Washington St., Dallas, by 4 p.m. on March 29, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applicants must have a permanent residence in Polk County or be a current employee or family member of a current employee at West Valley hospital -- and must have applied to a college in their field of study before applying for this scholarship.

Final selections will be announced by May 15, 2018. If you have questions, please contact Salem Health West Valley Foundation office at 503-814-1990.

The Salem Health West Valley Foundation is committed to raising, managing and distributing funds to help the hospital achieve its mission of improving the health and well-being of the people and community it serves.

Last year, The Foundation awarded a total of $19,500 in scholarships to 19 students pursuing degrees in a variety of programs.
