Polk County Task Force Responds To Applegate Fire (Photo) - 06/21/24

This morning at 6am, SW Polk Fire District were mobilized through Immediate Response, a tool the State Fire Marshal uses to send firefighting resources outside of a conflagration.  We have sent a Polk County task force which includes SW Polk Fire District, Amity Fire District, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Fire Department, Polk County Fire District No. 1, Sheridan Fire District, and Dallas Fire Department to respond to the Upper Applegate fire near the town of Ruch.
