Volunteers Invited To Join SOLVE’s Inaugural Pick It Up, Medford! On Earth Day (Photo) - 04/10/26

Portland, Ore., April 10, 2026 – SOLVE, in partnership with Lithia & Driveway and the Downtown Medford Association, is hosting the inaugural Pick It Up, Medford! community cleanup on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, inviting volunteers to help care for downtown Medford and surrounding neighborhoods.

The event begins at Pear Blossom Park, where volunteers of all ages will spread out across downtown streets and nearby green spaces to remove litter and refresh shared community areas. The cleanup is designed to bring neighbors, businesses, and community members together for a hands-on day of action celebrating Medford’s historic downtown.

Pick It Up, Medford! is part of SOLVE’s Oregon Spring Cleanup, a month-long Earth Month initiative supporting litter cleanups and habitat restoration projects. The event also marks the expansion of SOLVE’s Pick It Up! series, a regional cleanup effort that brings communities together city by city to care for shared spaces.

"Launching Pick It Up, Medford! on Earth Day marks an exciting expansion of this community-driven cleanup series into Southern Oregon. These events bring people together city by city, and we’re proud to partner with local leaders to support a cleaner and more vibrant downtown Medford," said Kris Carico, CEO of SOLVE.

Lithia & Driveway is serving as the presenting sponsor for the inaugural event, supporting community-driven efforts to create a cleaner and more welcoming downtown Medford.

Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Cleanup supplies will be provided, and participants will help improve the spaces that connect residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the downtown core.
