News Release

Non-profit Bed Supplier For Children Needs Space - 09/23/22

Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) provides beds, mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows to Central Oregon children who have no bed of their own and may be sleeping on the floor.

Aaken Electric of Bend has provided a space for SHP for two years but they now need the space as their company grows. SHP is looking for a Bend or Redmond company that has 600-800 square feet they can use. The space is mostly for storage of the wood, mattresses and tools used to make the beds. Actual construction takes place outside on "Build Days," every couple of months, so an industrial park location would be ideal.

"We would be so grateful for a small area that we could use,” says Joe Myers, outreach coordinator. “We would be at the building one or two days a week for about an hour. We are in the facility just long enough to load up the beds to deliver.”
