Ridgefield School District Receives Clean Audit Report -03/08/18

Thursday, March 8, 2018 -- Ridgefield, Washington -- On February 22, 2018, the Office of the Washington State Auditor released its Financial Statements Audit Report for the Ridgefield School District for the period September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017. According to the audit report, the financial statements of the district presented fairly the district's financial position. Further, it identified no deficiencies in internal control or instances of non-compliance in the district's financial reporting. "We continue to make improvements in financial reporting processes," said Paula McCoy, Ridgefield School District's Executive Director of Business Services. "We take seriously our responsibility in providing and disseminating to the public, complete and accurate accounting and financial information and strongly believe in the importance of government accountability in the use of taxpayer resources."
